Mission Statement
At John G. Althouse Before and After School Program we believe every child has the right to quality child care in a safe and nurturing environment.
Our exciting Programs provide a seamless day for children from Junior Kindergarten to grade eight. Our program is designed to meet the changing needs and interests of school-age children as they develop through their childhood years.
Programs are located in the following schools:
*Princess Margaret Junior School
[Junior kindergarten-grade 4]

*John G. Althouse Middle School
[Grade 5-8]
Grade 5 students attend the morning program at Princess Margaret and walk to John G. Middle School each afternoon.
The John G. Althouse Before and After School Program is a before and after school day care Program providing child care for children aged 4-13 years during the school year. The Program is administered by a volunteer Board of Directors.
The Program is dedicated to supporting and strengthening the family unit and caring for the well being of the children. The Program staff and board are committed to continually adapting the program and approaches to meet the changing needs of our families.

Our Program is accepting new registrations in all age groups JK-Grade 8. We are taking the required precautions to address Covid-19. Enhanced health and safety protocols are being followed including, small cohorts, social distancing, PPE and daily disinfection in all rooms.
